When you think about our nation in its early days, generally you think about things like the Louisiana Purchase, Louis and Clark, or even the railroad. However, most don’t think about such things as the native American removal, more commonly referred to as the Trail of Tears, or even the beginnings of the Women’s Rights Movement. As far as most of us are concerned, natives are not about much, and women are simply given the same rights. It has not always been so.
